LEVELS + DREAMBOATS

Follow along as the lads train for the 2022 Talisker Atlantic Challenge

What is The Talisker Atlantic Challenge?

Long story short, it is an absolutely mental rowing race starting in La Gomera in the Canary Islands to English Harbor in Antigua. The boys will live in the boat as they attempt to row the 3,000 miles across the ocean.

Purpose Driven Training.

The definiton of process, is a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end. To get to start line at La Gomera is a daunting process. Life is process, our catchphrase for this process is “we love training” because if don’t have fun training we won’t have any fun on the ocean.

rowing Strength & Conditioning

Rowing may be a rowing sport but no one has ever complained about being too strong.

Mindset

For such a wild endeavor of human endurance, a huge emphasis must be placed on mental training.

Charleston

The Holy City is the home and training grounds for the lads. Lifting weights at Ethos Athletic Club, running the track at The Citadel and skulling in the Wando River this beautiful city provides a perfect playground for optimal training. We can’t wait to get them across the line to add another accolade to this ever impressive city.

what’s the why?

The boys are raising money for the Greenheart Project of Charleston, a non-profit that helps underprivileged children of Charleston learn the value of clean food, how to grow it and cultivate it and promote a healthy lifestyle. Another organization the boys represent is the 2041 foundation, which was founded by their good friend, Mr. Robert Swan. The foundation strives to unite forward thinking individuals to protect and conserve Antarctica.
